Andrew Stockton
Managing Partner and Head of Commercial

After graduating from Leeds University, Andrew trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 1984. He has specialised in commercial work since 1989 building a solid reputation for advising a wide variety of clients – from small start up ventures to national organisations.

Paul Hatton Litigation

Paul takes pride in being a “problem solver” for his clients. In commercial litigation and employment matters he advises clients on a broad range of disputes and problems in the civil courts, striving to nip problems in the bud and minimise the impact on you or your business. Paul studied law at the University of Liverpool and qualified in 2005. He joined Dootsons in 2013, after working for law firms in Bolton and Altrincham, and became a Partner at Dootsons in May 2016. Paul is also an LSM accredited mediator.  

Beryl Murray
Licensed Conveyancer - Head of Department

A qualified Licensed Conveyancer since 2002, Beryl joined Dootsons in 2013 and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of Residential conveyancing,sales, purchases, re-mortgages, Transfer of Equity, purchase of freehold reversion, unregistered properties etc. She was made Head of Residential Conveyancing in 2018.

Sandra Cornwell
Conveyancing Executive

Sandra specialises in sales, purchases and re-mortgages within the Residential department. Joining the firm in 2003 as a secretary. she then trained within the firm and became a Conveyancing executive in 2004 is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited. She is currently training to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.

Nerys Crompton
Conveyancing Executive

Nerys joined Dootsons in September 2011 as a Conveyancing executive and specialises in sales, purchases and re-mortgages. She has a degree in Law and is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited.

Geraldine Davy
Conveyancing Executive

Geraldine joined Dootsons in 2005 as a secretary. She then trained within the firm and became a Conveyancing executive in 2007 is Conveyancing Scheme accredited and specialises in sales particularly dealing with the Firm’s probate sales.

Ainsley Pritchard
Senior Solicitor - Head of Department

Ainsley qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and has specialised in family and matrimonial law throughout her career. She joined Dootsons in 2011 and is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers. Ainsley is also a fully qualified Family Mediator and is a member of the Family Mediators Association.

Alexandra Nutter

Alexandra qualified as a Solicitor in 2006. She completed her Legal Practice Course at Chester Law College. Following completion of her training contract she worked in the Wills and Trust sector and also gained experience in Probate sales and purchases, personal injury and family matters, deciding her preferred area of work is Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She now specialises in these fields.

Rebecca Stringfellow
Partner and Head of Wills Trust & Probate

Rebecca joined Dootsons in 2014 as a Solicitor in the Newton le Willows branch office. She is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course Programme at the Manchester Law School. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007. Rebecca is also a Full Member of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and a Student Member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Rebecca became a Partner in May 2019.

Pauline Mannion
Probate Executive

Pauline has been employed by the firm, initially by Eckersley Hope, since 1977 when she joined as secretary to the Senior Partner. She has worked as a fee earner since 1988, gaining a wealth of experience in various departments, joining the Wills ,Trust and Probate department in 2007 specialising in Wills.

Adele Dixon
Conveyancing Executive

Adele joined Dootsons Conveyancing Department in April 2014 and deals with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and post completion she is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited.  

Amanda Robertson
Conveyancing Executive

Amanda has specialised in sales, purchases and re-mortgages since 2002 within the Residential Department. She Joined the firm in 2015 as a Conveyancing Executive, she is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited and is currently training to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.

James Cullen
Commercial Solicitor

James qualified in 1994. He has been a partner in large firms in London and the North West. His practice area is Commercial Property including the property aspects of corporate transactions. He has a  particular specialism in property development, having acted for public bodies, institutions, landowners and national house builders on major projects throughout his career.
